How Founders Can Make the Grind Bearable

Startups are hard, but you don’t need to deliberately suffer to succeed.
Your Personalized AI Doctor Will See You Now
(Not medical advice)
Most adults have an ongoing medical condition, minor or otherwise. As a fellow sufferer, no matter how much money I spend on medical care, the actual time a doctor spends on my case is pretty minimal. In the US, you'll usually spend more time with support staff than physicians.
Thankfully, the dream of an expert AI doctor, who cares, never gets tired and has only one patient, is already here. For $20/month on apps like ChatGPT or Claude, you can create a 'project' focused on your particular problems. Here's the process I used on ChatGPT
Plus:1/ Create a Project, use your condition as the title. Set the Model as o3.
2/ Tell it *Everything*. I uploaded photos, x-rays, documents and my description of the condition; don't hold back. In the project instructions, I provided a high level overview of the materials I'd uploaded, available equipment, and told it not to warn me to see a doctor (as I already have).
3/ Ask Questions. With all the data uploaded, I asked about my condition and the rehab options. The model did a great job understanding the issue and creating a care plan for the coming weeks. I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted and offer edits.
4/ Daily Updates. Once I started on the care plan, I could provide daily updates to get more suggestions and an updated plan. The advice seemed to improve over time, and so has my condition.
Of course, there's no guarantee any of what you're told is accurate and confidentiality has to be a secondary concern, however the results were impressive for me and a family member.
The obvious accuracy and privacy concerns will rightly deter many and slow this technology's progress into mainstream medical care. But if you want to try it, it's available today.
