Selling tech products in Europe is harder than most people think. But the US? Much easier. Here’s why.
Most founders in Europe do not struggle to get meetings, they struggle to close. European buyers will happily take dozens of meetings with little intent to buy, as their budgets are tight.
US based companies and consumers tend to have a lot more free cash to spend on new opportunities, as well as individuals within an organization having more ownership over spending decisions.
The US has much more of a culture around taking risks. People will try your product to get an advantage, for them or their company, versus in Europe you will encounter folks more worried about the consequences of betting on a startup.
