How To Describe Your Sales Funnel

Investors will often ask about your sales funnel and many founders accidentally make it sound terrible. How’s how to answer that question:

1. Barbell Problems

If you only share top of funnel reach and the final numbers on customers, it’ll look pretty bad, as you’ve lost 90%+ in those 2 steps.

2. Describe the Middle

Highlight the people who are interested, and spending time, like design partners. Even if they aren’t customers yet

3. Show Momentum

If you have verbal yeses or contracts about to sign, be sure to mention your upcoming spike in growth.
